Properties:
Pure product is off-white solid, slightly soluble in water, saturated concentration is about 0.5% in ice water, saturated solution concentration in boiling water is about 20%. Soluble in an organic solvent, acetonitrile, methanol, ethanol and into the 3,5,6-trichloro-2-ol under acidic conditions (m.p. 169 ~ 171 ℃).
Uses:
used in the production of chlorpyrifos (Efficient low residual insecticide miticide), chlorpyrifos-methyl.
